EDELMAN NAMES MARK SHADLE AND JANET CABOT PRESIDENTS OF CENTRAL U.S. REGION
July 09, 2008Edelman, the world’s largest independent public relations firm recently announced the appointment of Mark Shadle and Janet Cabot as presidents of the firm’s Central Region, which includes its Chicago CO-headquarters office and operations in Dallas and Austin. Shadle and Cabot succeed Nancy Ruscheinski who managed the Central Region for the last seven years. Ruscheinski recently was appointed president and chief operating officer for Edelman’s U.S. operation.
CHRIS KOMISARJEVSKY JOINS EDELMAN AS STRATEGIC ADVISOR TO PRESIDENT & CEO
July 07, 2008Edelman, the world’s largest independent public relations firm, announced today that Chris Komisarjevsky, former CEO of Burson-Marsteller, has joined Edelman as Strategic Advisor to President and CEO, Richard Edelman. In his role, Chris will act as pro tem chair of the firm’s global Corporate practice, support global clients and assist the firm’s leadership development program. Chris joins Edelman at the time when the firm is growing strongly, recording 18% growth for the year ending June ’08. Edelman has increased its revenues to $445M with 3200 staff worldwide, doubling its size in the last four years.
EDELMAN NAMES RUSSELL DUBNER PRESIDENT OF NEW YORK OFFICE
July 02, 2008Edelman, the world’s largest independent public relations firm, today announced the appointment of Russell Dubner as president of the firm’s worldwide co-headquarters in New York. Dubner, a 15-year Edelman veteran, succeeds Matthew J. Harrington, who oversaw the office during the past eight years as part of his responsibilities as president of Edelman’s Eastern Region. Harrington recently was named Edelman’s U.S. president and chief executive officer.
CRISIS MANAGEMENT EXPERT NICK ARCHER JOINS EDELMAN
June 30, 2008Edelman, the world’s largest independent public relations firm, announced today that Nick Archer is to join Edelman through its acquisition of Pittacus, the niche crisis management agency, where Archer is CEO. Archer is appointed Executive Vice President and Head of Crisis and Risk Communications, and will also lead the New York Public Affairs practice. In addition to running two agencies, Archer worked at Edelman’s London office as well as Ogilvy PR Worldwide in the UK.
