The support that Edelman provides to pan-European clients is founded on its understanding of European political and cultural trends and nuances, and its recognition of commercial imperatives.
The public affairs team works with clients to help them communicate with European institutions and navigate the political landscape. The staff also builds coalitions between partners with common interests, both in Brussels and across the EU, which enables clients to reach broad and diverse audiences. Our clients have included TXU, British Petroleum, Chiquita, KSA, EEMF (European Energy Millennium Forum), Dupont, Ecco and UPS.
As importantly, we help clients interpret the ever-changing expectations of global civil society, and understand how trends affect a company's bottom line and reputation. Edelman is uniquely qualified to help companies build and maintain productive relationships with non-governmental organizations as well as with other new voices of civil society.
More than 15 employees work in our Brussels office and volunteer their expertise to select organizations, including the Don Bosco School in Ngangi, Democratic Republic of Congo, which helps orphans and children who have been separated from their families by the war.
