Power of one, launched in September 2006, is a government campaign focusing on energy efficiency. Tailored messages in the national press have reached almost 2.5 million people, with an additional 1.5 million in the consumer press. The Web site www.powerofone.ie has been visited by over 35,000 people.

In April 2006, National Irish Bank became part of the Danske Bank Group. Edelman advised the company on how to maximise brand awareness; We secured the services of Helena Christensen in order to communicate the Danish connection and internationalisation of the bank.

For the third year, the Edelman Trust Barometer survey has included Ireland. Out of the twenty countries surveyed, Ireland had the largest percentage of people (83%) who say they trust business less now than at the same time last year. In the wake of the financial credit crisis, 76% of survey participants believe that Government should now impose stricter regulation and tougher controls on business across all industries in Ireland.
