Edelman Seattle drove mass media and consumer awareness surrounding Brooks Sports sponsorship of an elite running group who qualified to participate at 2008 Men’s Marathon Olympic Team Trials.  The efforts for Brooks Sports resulted in placements in top-tier publications, including an in-depth feature story on the Hansons-Brooks team in The New York Times.

For the Pacific Health Summit, Edelman Seattle generated major support from the World Health Organization, GlaxoSmithKline and Eli Lilly, and was instrumental in coordinating a rare panel with the ministers of health from Taiwan, Singapore, and China to discuss common interests in health.

Edelman Seattle's launch for Microsoft’s “Halo 3” was heralded as one of the top 10 global entertainment launches of all-time, generating more than $300 million in sales globally and 6,500 media placements in the U.S. during the first week.

Entrepreneurial spirit. Groundbreaking projects. Industry-defining campaigns. Top-notch clients. Centers of excellence. Award-winning teams. A “best place” to work.

Edelman Seattle defies description but these superlatives are just a few ways to categorize the office that comprises more than 100 PR professionals dedicated to their craft. Whatever your business focus, our teams have got it covered through expertise encompassing consumer marketing, corporate reputation, healthcare, foodservice and nutrition, government & public affairs, travel & tourism, technology, privacy & security, retail, real estate, digital marketing, and bioscience & public health.

A modern office space in the heart of the Belltown neighborhood fosters our teams’ best work for top national and global assignments for Microsoft; Starbucks; Expedia.com; Brooks; Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center; State of Washington Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development; Vulcan Inc.; Oberto; Avanade and many others.

We’re the team that:

• Created the biggest entertainment story of 2007 with the launch of Halo 3, the fastest-selling video game of all time
• Introduced the world to surface computing with the rollout of Microsoft Surface®
• Helped museum goers channel their inner rock stars and robots with the grand openings of the Experience Music Project and the Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame
• Educated the public about life-saving cancer research led by the Nobel Prize-winning scientists at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center
• Introduced to policy makers an entirely new industrial category called green crude production, championed by Sapphire Energy, the first-ever producer of renewable gasoline
Raised the curtain on the brand-new Seattle Public Library, a modern architectural marvel

When not dominating the PR space, Edelman Seattle is an active supporter of its community at large, partnering with groups such as Komen for the Cure, the Puget Sound Chapter of the American Marketing Association and the Public Relations Society of America. Accolades? We’ve got those too, most notably recent PRSA Totem wins for Microsoft Surface, Microsoft Hardware, Brooks and Ultreo. The Puget Sound Business Journal named Edelman the top PR agency in Seattle in 2007, while Seattle Business Monthly touts Edelman as one of our region’s best places to work.
