Energy impacts all of us – from using more data and computing power as AI becomes ubiquitous, to increasingly catastrophic weather that threatens the grid’s stability. Finding the right balance of sustainable, affordable and reliable energy is our society’s greatest and most urgent undertaking.

Edelman Energy Transition aims to build trust in the energy transition efforts of clients to accelerate achievement of the landmark UAE Consensus to “transition away from fossil fuels in a just, orderly and equitable manner.”

We support our clients in advancing a just and equitable transition, operating under the guidance of our six Climate Principles, and we have a global network of energy, climate and sustainability communications experts with experience in all segments of the industry, allowing us to deeply understand the issues, trends and our clients’ business.

We evolve, promote and protect our clients’ interests by helping them navigate the energy transition, manage reputation, deliver business value, inform policy developments and strengthen their license to operate. We do this by convening and participating in constructive dialogues, engaging stakeholders and communities, developing strong narratives and compelling content, and managing issues and crises.

To meet growing demand, we will need smarter energy generation, wiser consumption and improved infrastructure. We will need to encourage behavior change by all energy users, from businesses to consumers, to help them think and act differently. And we will need to inform and engage in conversations with a range of stakeholders – from the private and public sectors, to NGOs and industry groups, to independent experts and ordinary citizens – on how we can create an equitable transition to a decarbonized system while balancing associated societal, economic and environmental impacts.
