No Kid Hungry* (NKH) addresses childhood hunger and access to healthy food in California, and its signature “Taste the Nation” event in the San Francisco Bay Area raises money for Share Our Strength’s national No Kid Hungry campaign to end childhood hunger in the U.S. Guests enjoy bites and sips from Bay Area restaurants, breweries, wineries and mixologists.
To help shape the event, drive ticket sales, boost excitement and raise awareness about the cause, Edelman brought its influencer and social media expertise to the pro bono partnership, providing the nonprofit with extensive social media, media and influencer outreach. Before the event, the Edelman team organized several behind-the-scenes photoshoots for a handful of top-tier influencers. The team coordinated with restaurant partners to arrange tastings that helped create networking opportunities for food partners and secure high-quality assets for social media, which were shared widely on Snapchat and Instagram during the event to help with branding and drive engagement.
